ENROLLED 2019 Regular Session HOUSE BILL NO. 67 BY REPRESENTATIVE GREGORY MILLER 1 AN ACT 2 To amend and reenact R.S. 34:2472(A) and 2473(F)(3), relative to the South Louisiana Port 3 Commission; to modify the titles of certain board officer positions within the 4 membership of the commission; and to provide for related matters. 5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 6 Section 1. R.S. 34:2472(A) and 2473(F)(3) are hereby amended and reenacted to 7 read as follows: 8 §2472. Officers of the board; meetings 9 A. The commission shall elect from among its own members a president, a 10 vice president chairman, a vice chairman, a secretary, and a treasurer, whose 11 respective duties shall be prescribed by the commission. At the option of the 12 commission the offices of the secretary and treasurer may be held by one person. 13 The commission shall meet in regular session once each month and also shall meet 14 in special session at the call of the president chairman of the commission or on the 15 written request of three members of the commission. A majority of the members of 16 the commission shall constitute a quorum and all action or resolutions of the 17 commission must be approved by the affirmative vote of not less than a majority of 18 all members of the commission. 19 * * * 20 §2473.
