Agricultural Commodities Commission and changes the voting requirements for the commission. Present law provides that the commissioner of agriculture and forestry is an ex officio member of the La. Agricultural Commodities Commission. Proposed law authorizes a designee of the commissioner to serve in place of the commissioner. Present law requires the affirmative vote of five members of the commission to take official actions. Proposed law changes the requirement to a majority vote of members that are present and voting.
