HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 284
BY REPRESENTATIVES NANCY LANDRY, BISHOP, COUSSAN, DEVILLIER,
EMERSON, LEBAS, DUSTIN MILLER, AND PIERRE
COMMENDATIONS: Commends Noble Plastics on receipt of a 2019 Manufacturing
Leadership Award in the Industrial Internet of Things Leadership category
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend Noble Plastics for being selected as a 2019 recipient of the Manufacturing
3 Leadership Award from the National Association of Manufacturers.
4 WHEREAS, Scott and Missy Rogers founded Noble Plastics, which was
5incorporated in 2000 in Lafayette and now has plants in Grand Coteau and Opelousas and
6more than forty employees; and
7 WHEREAS, the contract manufacturer produces injection molded plastic parts for
8industrial and consumer markets; and
9 WHEREAS, the Manufacturing Leadership Council, a division of the National
10Association of Manufacturers, honored Noble Plastics with a 2019 Manufacturing
11Leadership Award in the Industrial Internet of Things Leadership category; and
12 WHEREAS, in its fifteenth year, the Manufacturing Leadership Awards program
13honors organizations and individuals that are shaping the future of global manufacturing.
14 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
15Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Noble Plastics for being selected as a 2019
16recipient of the Manufacturing Leadership Award from the National Association of
17Manufacturers; does hereby commend Noble Plastics for remarkable contributions to
18manufacturing and to the Louisiana economy; and does hereby recognize the tremendous
19pride and honor the award brings to the company, the cities of Lafayette and Opelousas, the
20town of Grand Coteau, and the state of Louisiana.

2and Missy Rogers.
