HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 284
BY REPRESENTATIVES NANCY LANDRY, BISHOP, COUSSAN, DEVILLIER,
EMERSON, LEBAS, DUSTIN MILLER, AND PIERRE
A RESOLUTION
To commend Noble Plastics for being selected as a 2019 recipient of the Manufacturing
Leadership Award from the National Association of Manufacturers.
WHEREAS, Scott and Missy Rogers founded Noble Plastics, which was
incorporated in 2000 in Lafayette and now has plants in Grand Coteau and Opelousas and
more than forty employees; and
WHEREAS, the contract manufacturer produces injection molded plastic parts for
industrial and consumer markets; and
WHEREAS, the Manufacturing Leadership Council, a division of the National
Association of Manufacturers, honored Noble Plastics with a 2019 Manufacturing
Leadership Award in the Industrial Internet of Things Leadership category; and
WHEREAS, in its fifteenth year, the Manufacturing Leadership Awards program
honors organizations and individuals that are shaping the future of global manufacturing.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Noble Plastics for being selected as a 2019
recipient of the Manufacturing Leadership Award from the National Association of
Manufacturers; does hereby commend Noble Plastics for remarkable contributions to
manufacturing and to the Louisiana economy; and does hereby recognize the tremendous
pride and honor the award brings to the company, the cities of Lafayette and Opelousas, the
town of Grand Coteau, and the state of Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to Scott
and Missy Rogers.
