Present law prohibits the taking of wild quadrupeds, including outlaw quadrupeds (coyotes,
armadillos, and feral hogs), with an automatic loading or hand operated repeating shotgun capable
of holding more than three shells.
Proposed law authorizes the taking of outlaw quadrupeds with an automatic loading or hand operated
repeating shotgun capable of holding more than three shells when using buckshot or rifled slug
ammunition on private property.
Effective August 1, 2019.
