ACT 53 (SB 100) 2019 Regular Session Allain
Prior law prohibited the taking of wild quadrupeds, including outlaw quadrupeds (coyotes,
armadillos, and feral hogs), with an automatic loading or hand operated repeating shotgun
capable of holding more than three shells.
New law authorizes the taking of outlaw quadrupeds with an automatic loading or hand
operated repeating shotgun capable of holding more than three shells when using buckshot
or rifled slug ammunition on private property.
New law authorizes the taking of outlaw quadrupeds while riding or standing in or upon a
moving land vehicle on private property.
Effective August 1, 2019.
