ACT 84 (SB 104) 2019 Regular Session Erdey
Prior law authorized the police jury organizing the drainage district to appoint five
commissioners in each district.
Prior law provided as an exception that the governing authority of Livingston Parish shall
appoint seven commissioners for Gravity Drainage District No. 2.
New law requires the governing authority of Livingston Parish to increase the number of
board commissioners from five to seven for Gravity Drainage District No. 5.
Effective upon signature of the governor (June 4, 2019).
