Present law provides for the membership of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board.
Present law provides that the speaker of the House of Representatives and the president of the Senate
or their designees serve as ex officio members and have no authority to vote and do not count for
purposes of a quorum.
Proposed law removes these limitations.
Proposed law adds the lieutenant governor or his designee as a member of the board.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
