ROADS/HIGHWAYS.  Designates a portion of LA 34 in Jackson Parish as the "Second
Lieutenant Harvel Moore Memorial Highway". (8/1/19)
1	AN ACT
2 To provide relative to state highways; to designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 34 in
3 Jackson Parish as the "Second Lieutenant Harvel Moore Memorial Highway"; and
4 to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  The portion of Louisiana Highway 34 between its intersection with the
7 north corporate limits of the town of Chatham and south to its intersection with Louisiana
8 Highway 4, all in Jackson Parish, is hereby designated as the "Second Lieutenant Harvel
9 Moore Memorial Highway".
10 Section 2.  The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby directed
11 to erect and maintain appropriate signs of this designation provided local or private monies
12 are received by the department equal to the department's actual costs for material,
13 fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of five
14 hundred fifty dollars per sign.
