ACT 174 (SB 7) 2019 Regular Session Hensgens
Prior law provided a requirement that each individual Medicaid prepaid coordinated care
network (CCN) must establish a pharmaceutical and therapeutics committee to develop a
drug formulary and preferred drug list for the CCN. Provided that the CCN must meet no less
than semiannually in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and that such meeting shall be open to the
public and allow for public comment prior to voting on any changes to the CCN's preferred
drug list or formulary.
New law repeals prior law.
Effective upon signature of the governor (June 11, 2019).
