Present law authorizes the Louisiana Department of health to license adult residential care providers
to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of adults receiving residential care and to provide for
the safe operation of residential care facilities. Proposed law retains present law and makes technical
changes.
Effective August 1, 2019.
