RÉSUMÉ DIGEST SCR 56 2019 Regular Session Long Requests the La. attorney general to establish the Task Force on Protecting Children from Exposure to Pornography to study all issues related to the exposure of children to and the impact it has on their lives. Provides that the task force is to be composed of the following: (1) The president pro tempore of the Senate, or his designee. (2) The speaker pro tempore of the House of Representatives, or his designee. (3) The chair of the Senate Select Committee on Women and Children, or his designee. (4) The secretary of the Department of Children and Family Services, or his designee. (5) A member of the Governor's Advisory Board of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, appointed by the governor. (6) The chairman of the Louisiana Cybersecurity Commission, or his designee. (7) The chair of the Children's Code Committee of the La. Law Institute, or his designee. (8) The president of the La. District Attorneys Association, or his designee. (9) A representative of the Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit, appointed by the attorney general. (10) The state superintendent of education, or his designee. (11) The executive director of the La. Baptist Convention, or his designee. (12) The executive director of the La. Conference of Catholic Bishops, or his designee. (13) The president of the La. Family Forum, or his designee. (14) The board chair of the La. Partnership for Children and Families, or his designee. (15) The chief executive officer of the La. Cable and Telecommunications Association–The Internet & Television Association, or his designee. (16) The president of the La. Telecommunications Association, or his designee. Requests the task force to report its findings and recommendations to the legislature no later than Jan. 1, 2020.
