COMMENDAT IONS. Commends Richard E. Zuschlag upon being inducted into the
Louisiana Political Hall of Fame.
1 A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
2 To commend Richard E. Zuschlag upon being inducted into the Louisiana Political Hall of
3 Fame.
4 WHEREAS, Richard Zuschlag found Acadian Companies in 1971, and serves as the
5 chairman and chief executive officer; and
6 WHEREAS, he was instrumental in developing the Lafayette Parish 911 system
7 during his service on the Bush-Clinton Recovery Fund Committee; and
8 WHEREAS, Zuschlag has served his community through his tenure on the Lafayette
9 Parish Communication District, the New Orleans Business Council, the Lafayette Chamber
10 of Commerce, the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, and many other
11 organizations; and
12 WHEREAS, he has also spear-headed fund-raising efforts for many local and
13 national organizations resulting in great improvements to his community; and
14 WHEREAS, Richard has been blessed with a loving wife, Elaine, three children, and
15 six grandchildren.
16 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
17 commend Richard E. Zuschlag upon his induction into the Louisiana Political Hall of Fame.
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
