SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 101
BY SENATORS MARTINY AND GARY SMITH 
A RESOLUTION
To commend Ronnie Mains for service to his community.
WHEREAS, Ronnie Mains is the owner of CRC Global Solutions, a transportation
management company in Kenner, Louisiana, and in 2017, he was named a member of the
Port of New Orleans Economic Development Task Force; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mains makes giving back to his community a top priority;
CRC's We Care! We Share! is a reflection of that, a nonprofit corporation proudly working
with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, National Leukemia Society,
New Orleans Blood Bank, and Relay for Life; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mains is an advocate for individuals with autism, including one of
CRC's outstanding employees, Seth Bode; CRC Global Solutions hosted an event
recognizing World Autism Awareness Day on April 2, 2019, in Kenner, Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, April is National Autism Awareness Month, the aim of which is to
educate the public about autism or autism spectrum disorder, which refers to a broad range
of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, and speech
and nonverbal communication; and
WHEREAS, thirty-five percent of young adults aged nineteen to twenty-three
diagnosed with autism are not employed and are eager and excited to work, but struggle to
fit into a hiring and recruitment process that is fundamentally social; and
WHEREAS, an increased number of organizations are establishing hiring and
recruiting campaigns with the large population of potential employees in mind; there is a
need for more employers to update their hiring processes and training programs to include
autistic employees, as well as to raise awareness of autism; and
WHEREAS, hiring a diverse workforce, including those with autism, offers benefits
to organizations and those individuals who might otherwise be overlooked.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend Ronnie Mains for service to his community; does hereby wish
Mr. Mains continued success at CRC Global Solutions and in his advocacy and charitable
work which has a lasting impact on the city of Kenner, its citizens, and the state of
Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Mr. Ronnie Mains at CRC Global Systems.
