COMMENDATIONS. Commends Chris Schilling on the occasion of his 50
th
birthday on
May 9, 2019.
1 A RESOLUTION
2 To commend Chris Schilling on the occasion of his fiftieth birthday on May 9, 2019.
3 WHEREAS, Chris Schilling is an employee of PSA in the Senate Computer Center;
4 and
5 WHEREAS, after graduating from high school in 1987, Chris began working at the
6 state capitol as a page with the Louisiana House of Representatives; and
7 WHEREAS, Chris has worked at the state capitol since that time, with the exception
8 of eighteen months when he was completing his education at Louisiana State University in
9 Baton Rouge; and
10 WHEREAS, Chris and his lovely wife, Cheryl, met while working as students for the
11 House of Representatives, and they have two wonderful children, Claire and Connor; and
12 WHEREAS, after thirty-two years of working in various jobs for the legislature,
13 Chris still enjoys being at the capitol every day and interacting with the legislators and
14 legislative staff.
15 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
16 does hereby commend and congratulate Chris Schilling on the occasion of his fiftieth
17 birthday on May 9, 2019, does hereby commemorate this most significant and unforgettable
18 event, and does hereby extend to him sincere and heartfelt acclaim as he celebrates this

1 extraordinary milestone in his life.
2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
3 Chris Schilling.
