SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 232

COMMENDATIONS. Commends Randy Lucky upon the occasion of his retirement from
the Caddo Parish Commission.
1 A RESOLUTION
2 To commend Randy Lucky upon the occasion of his retirement from the Caddo Parish
3 Commission.
4 WHEREAS, Randy Lucky is a native of Natchitoches, Louisiana, and attended
5 Northwestern State University where he earned an associate degree in business
6 administration; and
7 WHEREAS, he was employed as the administrator for the Natchitoches Parish Police
8 Jury, where he served for approximately four years; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Lucky is currently the Assistant Administrator for the Caddo Parish
10 Commission, a position he has held since 1998; and
11 WHEREAS, the Parish of Caddo employs approximately three hundred fifty
12 employees and Mr. Lucky is responsible for its day-to-day operations; and
13 WHEREAS, he is a past president of the Organization of Parish Administrative
14 Officials and was appointed by former Governor Kathleen Blanco to serve as a charter
15 member of the Louisiana Uniform Construction Code Council; and
16 WHEREAS, Mr. Lucky is married to Carol Lancaster Lucky and they have three
17 children and five grandchildren; and
18 WHEREAS, the success of the state of Louisiana, the strength of its communities,

1 and the overall vitality of American society depend in great measure upon people like
2 Randy Lucky.
3 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
4 does hereby commend and congratulate Randy Lucky upon the occasion of his retirement
5 from the Caddo Parish Commission and does hereby extend to him best wishes for continued
6 success and happiness in all of his future endeavors.
7 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
8 Randy Lucky.
