Proposed law retains present law but increases the maximum amount that can be charged. Present law requires the service fee to be the lesser of 5% of the total invoice for mechanical repair or $35. Proposed law changes present law to require the service fee be the lesser of 10% of the total invoice for mechanical repair or $50. (Amends R.S. 32:1263(A))
