COMMENDATIONS: Commends Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress on its fortieth
anniversary

2To commend Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress on its fortieth anniversary.
3 WHEREAS, Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress was founded in 1980 in Monroe,
4Louisiana, to serve the home furnishings needs of North Louisiana and South Arkansas; and
5 WHEREAS, Sleepy Hollow sells mattresses, box springs, head boards, bed frames,
6and bunk beds; the store constantly strives to provide its customers with all of their needs
7by adapting to the shifts in trends in the home furnishing industry; and
8 WHEREAS, Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress has loyally served the citizens
9of North Louisiana and provided jobs and business to the area for forty years; they are most
10worthy of commendation.
11 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
12Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress on
13its fortieth anniversary and does hereby extend sincere hopes and wishes that Sleepy Hollow
14continue to enjoy prosperity for many years to come.
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
16Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress.
