FIRE PROTECT/FIRE MARSHAL: Provides relative to exemptions for steam heating
boilers

2To amend and reenact R.S. 23:540(B)(5), relative to regulations affecting boilers; to exempt
3 certain steam heating boilers; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. R.S. 23:540(B)(5) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:

8 B. The provisions of this Part are not applicable to any of the following:

10 (5) Steam heating boilers carrying not more than fifteen pounds pressure
11 used exclusively for noncommercial purposes located in any private home.
