Abstract: Allows attorney advertisements to be regulated and subject to change by law effective
Jan. 1, 2023.
Present constitution provides that the supreme court has exclusive jurisdiction over members of the
bar.
Proposed constitutional amendment retains present constitution with the exception that advertising
by members of the bar would be regulated and subject to change by law effective Jan. 1, 2023.
Provides for submission of the proposed amendment to the voters at the statewide election to be held
Nov. 3, 2020.
