TRANSPORTATION DEPT:  Provides for certain exceptions when hauling construction
aggregates
1	AN ACT
2To enact R.S. 32:388(B)(4)(b)(xiv), relative to construction aggregates; to expand the
3 definition of "construction aggregates" to include dirt; and to provide for related
4 matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  R.S. 32:388(B)(4)(b)(xiv) is hereby enacted to read as follows:

13	(b)  When used in this Paragraph, "construction aggregates" means any of the

Abstract: Expands the definition of "construction aggregates" to include dirt.
Present law defines "construction aggregates" as any of the following:  sand, gravel, crushed
stone, reef shell, clam shell, sand-clam shell mixture, sand-reef shell mixture, sand clay
gravel, clam-reef shell mixture, crushed concrete, expanded clay, calcium sulfate
hemihydrate, and asphalt.
Proposed law expands the definition of "construction aggregates" to include dirt.
