Abstract: Repeals the requirement that all court costs which were imposed in connection with the
crime for which a pardon is issued must be paid before issuance of the pardon.
Present law prohibits the issuance of a first offender pardon unless the person has paid all of the
court costs which were imposed in connection with the conviction of the crime for which the pardon
is to be issued.
Proposed law repeals present law.
