Abstract: Adds a commissioner to the 19th JDC and adds a section with authority over limited
subject matters.
Present law provides that the 19th JDC has two commissioners who are appointed to such offices
designated as Section A and Section B.
Proposed law retains present law and adds a commissioner to the 19th JDC who are appointed to
such offices designated as Section A, Section B, and Section C.
Proposed law provides that the subject matter of the commissioner of Section C is limited to pretrial
criminal matters, including but not limited to bail, warrants, and pleas.
