Abstract: Requires instruction relative to eating disorder awareness and prevention in public
schools.
Proposed law requires public schools to provide age and grade appropriate classroom instruction
aimed at the prevention of eating disorders, which shall be incorporated into an existing course of
study. Requires public school governing authorities to adopt rules and regulations for the
implementation of such instruction.
