Abstract:  Increases the jurisdictional limit from $25,000 to $50,000 for the City Court of Sulphur.
Present law provides that in the City Court of Sulphur, the civil jurisdiction is concurrent with the
district court in cases where the amount in dispute, or the value of the property involved, does not
exceed $25,000.
Proposed law increases the civil jurisdictional amount from $25,000 to $50,000
(Amends C.C.P. Art. 4843(E) and (H))
