Abstract: Increases certain fees assessed by the La. State Board of Cosmetology (board).
Proposed law makes certain changes to fees assessed by the board. Provides that assessed
fees are nonrefundable.
Present law provides for assessed fees for certain examinations. Proposed law retains
present law.
Proposed law removes from present law the reference to certain resident and nonresident
statuses, positions, permits, and applicable fees.
Proposed law increases fees for certain licenses, permits, certificates of registration, and renewals
from $25 to $35.
Proposed law makes technical changes.
