HLS 20RS-29 ORIGINAL 2020 Regular Session HOUSE BILL NO. 7 BY REPRESENTATIVE GREGORY MILLER STATE AGENCIES: Provides relative to reports by executive branch agencies 1 AN ACT 2To repeal Chapter 21 of Title 49 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, comprised of 3 R.S. 49:1401, relative to reports by agencies in the executive branch of state 4 government; to repeal provisions providing for the automatic expiration of 5 requirements for such reports; and to provide for related matters. 6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. Chapter 21 of Title 49 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, 8comprised of R.S. 49:1401, is hereby repealed in its entirety. 9 Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not 10signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature 11by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If 12vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become 13effective on the day following such approval.
