Abstract: Allows the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to increase the annual
hazardous waste fees on large quantity and small quantity generators.
Present law allows DEQ to charge an annual hazardous waste fee on small quantity and large
quantity generators. Proposed law retains present law.
Proposed law authorizes DEQ to increase the fee for small quantity generators to an amount not to
exceed $600 and the fee for large quantity generators to an amount not to exceed $750.
