HLS 20RS-426 ORIGINAL 2020 Regular Session HOUSE BILL NO. 89 BY REPRESENTATIVE JAMES DRUGS/CONTROLLED: Adds certain substances to the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Law 1 AN ACT 2To enact R.S. 40:964(Schedule I)(D)(6) and (7) and (Schedule IV)(D)(14), relative to the 3 Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Law; to add certain substances to 4 Schedules I and IV; and to provide for related matters. 5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 6 Section 1. R.S. 40:964(Schedule I)(D)(6) and (7) and (Schedule IV)(D)(14) are 7hereby enacted to read as follows: 8 ยง964. Composition of schedules 9 Schedules I, II, III, IV, and V shall, unless and until added to pursuant to R.S. 10 40:962, consist of the following drugs or other substances, by whatever official 11 name, common or usual name, chemical name, or brand name designated: 12 SCHEDULE I 13 * * * 14 D. Depressants. The Louisiana State Law Institute is hereby authorized and directed to 15renumber the substances in R.S. 40:964(Schedule I)(D) to ensure that such substances are 16in alphabetical order.
