RÉSUMÉ DIGEST ACT 10 (HB 89) 2020 Regular Session James Existing law provides for the designation of controlled dangerous substances into Schedules I, II, III, IV, and V based upon the substances' potential for addiction and abuse. New law adds Butyryl fentanyl, 4-Fluoroisobutyryl fentanyl, MT-45, Ocfentanil, Clonazolam, and Flualprazolam to Schedule I. New law removes isomers of opium and opiates from Schedule II substances of vegetable origin or chemical synthesis and adds 6â-naltrexol as a Schedule II substance of vegetable origin or chemical synthesis. New law adds Norfentanyl to Schedule II. New law adds Brexanolone, Lemborexant, and Solriamfetol to Schedule IV. New law adds Cenobamate and Lasmiditan to Schedule V. Effective Aug. 1, 2020.
