Present law authorizes political subdivisions to enter into cooperative endeavor agreements with
private entities under which the private entity donates cash, equipment, goods, or services to local
infrastructure projects.
Proposed law retains present law but removes the qualification that the public project be an
infrastructure project.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
