DIGEST SB 162 Original 2020 Regular Session Hensgens Present law requires anyone over the age of 15 years not licensed to drive to present a special identification card issued by the Department of Public Safety and Corrections as proof of residency in order to obtain any license. Proposed law requires anyone not licensed to drive to present any form of identification that the Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries deems acceptable as proof of residency in order to obtain any license. Proposed law further allows minors who cannot otherwise demonstrate legal domicile by other methods established in present law to present any form of identification that the Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries deems acceptable as proof of residency in order to obtain any license.
