Present law provides that any misstatement or suppression of fact in an application or accompanying
affidavit is a ground for the denial, withholding or suspension of an alcoholic beverage permit in the
manner provided in present law.
Proposed law retains present law and further provides that any misstatement or suppression of fact
may also result in the filing of criminal charges of filing false public records against the person
completing the application.
Effective August 1, 2020.
