Present law provides for Environmental Education and Reduction Act and the environmental
education and litter reduction section within the state Department of Education (DOE), and provides
for power, duties, and programming of the section.
Proposed law retains present law and clarifies provisions relative to the activities of the section.
Directs the La State Law Institute to recodify specific sections of present law.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
