SB 342 Original 2020 Regular Session Ward
Proposed law provides that a person 60 years old or older that is a resident of the state may obtain
a special identification card that complies with the standards of Real ID. The special identification
card shall expire every six years.
Proposed law provides that the OMV may issue the special identification for a period of less than
six years in circumstances of legal presence for people who are not citizens or other special
restrictions.
Effective August 1, 2020.
