1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 32:308(G), relative to motor vehicle equipment; to provide relative to amber
3 warning lamps; to provide relative to vehicles hauling forest products; to provide for
4 requirements; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 32:308(G) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง308. Additional equipment required on buses, trucks, truck tractors, trailers,
8 semi-trailers and pole trailers, pole trailers, and any commercial
9 motor vehicle or trailer designed to transport a load of
10 unprocessed logs or pulpwood

12 G. Any commercial motor vehicle or trailer designed to transport a load
13 of unprocessed logs or pulpwood may show or display a flashing amber light
14 when in operation or a hazard exists.

Present law provides for equipment requirements for buses, trucks, truck tractors, trailers,
semi-trailers, and pole trailers.
Proposed law retains present law and further provides that any commercial motor vehicle
or trailer designed to transport a load of unprocessed logs or pulpwood, may show or display
a flashing amber light.
