Present law requires automobile insurers to report to the commissioner of insurance certain data
related to commercial motor vehicles, including number of policies written, amount of direct
premiums written, and direct paid losses. Provides that the information reported pursuant to present
law is confidential. Defines "commercial motor vehicle". Provides that present law shall be void May
1, 2025.
Proposed law repeals present law.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
