SB 442 Original 2020 Regular Session Milligan
Proposed law provides for each city, parish, or other local public school board to establish a
traumatic injury response program which requires training and preparation for traumatic injuries at
each public school. Additionally requires bleeding control kits to be placed in easily accessible
locations in designated rooms at each school and provides for the items which shall be included in
a bleeding control kit.
Proposed law provides for immunity for certain persons who administer aid to traumatic injuries
through the use of bleeding control kits.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
