ACT 55 (SB 72) 2020 Regular Session Smith
Prior law required the commissioner of insurance to collect in advance the following fees:
(1)For each company filing of property and casualty insurance policy forms, per product
$100.00
(2)For each company filing to adopt a reference or item filing of advisory organization's
form reference filing (not applicable to service purchasers, who must file the actual
forms as shown above) $20.00
(3)For each company filing of property and casualty insurance policy endorsements,
amendments, or riders $25.00
New law removes the $100 fee for each property and casualty insurance policy and instead
requires collection of $50 for each form filing of property and casualty insurance policy.
New law removes the $20 fee collected for each company filing to adopt a reference or item
filing of advisory organization's form reference filing, but which is not applicable to service
purchasers, who must file the actual forms required by law.
New law removes the $25 fee for each company filing of property and casualty insurance
policy endorsements, amendments, or riders.
Effective July 1, 2020.
