Proposed law grants each public postsecondary education management board the sole authority to
establish admissions standards for the institutions under its supervision and management.
Present law requires students who are residents of another state to meet certain standardized test
scores for admittance into an institution.
Proposed law repeals present law.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
