(8/1/20) 1 AN ACT 2 To amend and reenact R.S. 15:1506(B), relative to adult protective services; to provide for 3 reports; to provide for content of reports; to provide for receipt of reports; and to 4 provide for related matters. 5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 6 Section 1. R.S. 15:1506(B) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 7 ยง1506. Receipt of reports 8 * * * 9 B. When the appropriate adult protection agency receives a report of sexual 10 or physical abuse, exploitation, or extortion, whether directly or by referral, the 11 agency shall notify the chief law enforcement agency of the parish in which the 12 incident is alleged to have occurred of such report. Such notification shall be made 13 prior to the end of the business day subsequent to the day on which the adult 14 protection agency received the report.
