Abstract: Provides for the codification of Section 2 of Act 3 of the 2007 R.S. and retention of all
of the provisions of Section 1 of Act 3 of the 2007 R.S.
Present law provides for nine judgeships in the 21st Judicial District.
Proposed law retains present law.
Present law establishes a judgeship within the 21st Judicial District, Division I, which has subject
matter jurisdiction limited to juvenile matters.
Proposed law retains present law and codifies Section 2 of Act 3 of the 2007 R.S. while retaining
Section 1 of Act 3 of the 2007 R.S.
