Abstract:  Prohibits disclosure of certain information relative to managed service providers and
managed security service providers.
Present law requires companies that manage a public body's information technology infrastructure
or end-user systems or that assume operational control of the monitoring and management of the
public body's cybersecurity to register with the secretary of state.
Proposed law prohibits the secretary of state from disclosing such registration information except
to a public body.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
