RÉSUMÉ DIGEST ACT 413 (HB 42) 2021 Regular Session Davis New law requires public postsecondary education institutions to annually provide students with the following information regarding their student loans: (1)The total amount of education loans taken out by the student. (2)The percentage of the borrowing limit the student has reached. (3)Monthly repayment amounts that a similarly situated borrower may incur. New law provides that an institution is not liable for the information provided. New law provides that it is not applicable to private loans. Effective August 1, 2021. (Adds R.S. 17:3351(N))
