APPROPRIATIONS/SUPPLEML:  Makes supplemental appropriations for Fiscal Year
2020-2021
1	AN ACT
2To appropriate funds and to make certain reductions from certain sources to be allocated to
3 designated agencies and purposes in specific amounts for the making of
4 supplemental appropriations and reductions for said agencies and purposes for Fiscal
5 Year 2020-2021; to provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters.
6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1.  The following sums are hereby appropriated from the sources specified for
8the purpose of making supplemental appropriations for Fiscal Year 2020-2021.  Reductions
9are denoted in parentheses.

2The commissioner of administration is hereby authorized and directed to adjust the means
3of finance for the Payments to Private Providers Program, as contained in Act No. 1 of the
42020 First Extraordinary Session of the Legislature, by reducing the appropriation out of the
5State General Fund by Statutory Dedications out of the Louisiana Medical Assistance Trust
6Fund by ($366,158,073).

43Revenues by ($7,300,000) due to changes in enrollment.
44Provided, however, that the reduction above from Fees and Self-generated Revenues

39vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
40effective on the day following such approval.

Appropriates supplemental funding and provides for means of financing substitutions and
other budgetary adjustments for Fiscal Year 2020-2021. Provides for net increases
(decreases) as follows: State General Fund (Direct) by $0; Interagency Transfers by
$16,394,364; Fees & Self-generated Revenues by $20,873,194; Statutory Dedications by
($366,158,073); and Federal Funds by $85,342,623.
Additionally appropriates $27,043,431 of State General Fund (Direct) of nonrecurring
revenue out of the surplus from Fiscal Year 2019-20 for the Unfunded Accrued Liability
in state retirement systems.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
