ACT 116 (HB 584) 2021 Regular Session	Zeringue
Appropriates funds for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 for the ordinary operating expenses of the
judicial branch of government with total funding of $183,642,214 from the following
sources: $164,008,439 out of the State General Fund (Direct); $9,392,850 out of Interagency
Transfers; and $10,240,925 from statutory dedications out of the Judges' Supplemental
Compensation Fund and the Trial Court Case Management Fund.
Requires the Judicial Administrator, by Oct. 1, 2021, to develop a uniform budget document
designed to show itemized revenues and expenditures for district courts, city courts,
municipal courts, and traffic courts.  Further requires the Judicial Administrator to distribute
the finalized budget document to the chief judge of each district court, city court, municipal
court, and traffic court that receives monies pursuant to new law.  Requires each recipient
court to complete the form and return it to the supreme court no later than Jan. 1, 2022. 
Further requires that by the deadline in existing law for submission of budgets to the
legislature, the supreme court shall submit the completed reports to the legislature and
publish the completed forms on its website.
