HIGHWAYS:  Redesignates a portion of Interstate 220 in Shreveport, Louisiana, as the
"Minnion Dewayne Jackson Memorial Highway"
1	AN ACT
2To redesignate a portion of Interstate 220 in Shreveport, Louisiana, as "Minnion Dewayne
3 Jackson Memorial Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1.  The portion of Interstate 220 otherwise designated as the "Joseph D.
6Waggonner, Jr. Highway" located in Bossier City and Shreveport, Louisiana, shall be known
7and is hereby redesignated as the "Minnion Dewayne Jackson Memorial Highway" at Exit
87A.
9 Section 2.  The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
10hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
11provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
12actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
13exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of $550 per sign.
