1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 33:4091(C)(1)(c), relative to the city of New Orleans; to provide
3 relative to the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans; to provide relative to
4 services provided by the board; to provide relative to the collection of payments
5 owed for such services; to provide relative to reports issued by the board; to provide
6 relative to the requirements of such reports; and to provide for related matters.
7 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published
8 as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of
9 Louisiana.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
11 Section 1. R.S. 33:4091(C)(1)(c) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as
12 follows:
13 ยง4091. Reports of board

15 C. In addition to the requirements of Subsections A and B of this Section,
16 the board shall report quarterly no later than the first day of the second month
17 following the close of each calendar quarter to the city council relative to its
18 operations. The report shall include the following in a manner as prescribed by the
19 city council:
20 (1) Standard industry metrics for best practice, including but not limited to:

1 (c) Percentage and total value of receivables outstanding, including a
2 delinquency schedule and a copy of the board's policies and procedures for bill
3 collection.
