1 AN ACT
2 To designate a portion of United States Highway 425 in Mangham, Louisiana, as the
3 "Marshall Waters, Jr. Memorial Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of United States Highway 425 that passes through Mangham,
6 Louisiana, shall be known and hereby designated as the "Marshall Waters, Jr. Memorial
7 Highway".
8 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10 provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11 actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
12 exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.
