BY REPRESENTATIVE TARVER AND SENATOR AB RAHAM
COMMENDATIONS: Commends the Barbe High School girls' golf team on winning the
Louisiana High School Athletic Association 2021 Division I state championship
1 A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
2To commend the Barbe High School girls' golf team on winning the Louisiana High School
3 Athletic Association 2021 Division I state championship.
4 WHEREAS, the Barbe girls' golf team dominated the field at Les Vieux Chenes Golf
5Course in Youngsville, Louisiana, to capture the Division I girls' state golf title; and
6 WHEREAS, the Bucs finished twenty-nine strokes ahead of the runner-up team from
7Dutchtown; and
8 WHEREAS, the team was comprised of sophomores Isabella Bradley and Isabella
9Callaba and junior Sadie Guillory; and
10 WHEREAS, Ms. Bradley finished with a two-day total of one hundred sixty-four
11strokes; Ms. Callaba finished with one hundred seventy-seven strokes; and Ms. Guillory
12finished with two hundred strokes; and
13 WHEREAS, the Barbe High School girls' golf team is most deserving of recognition
14for their impressive, title-winning performance at the Division I state golf championship.
15 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
16commend the Barbe High School girls' golf team on winning the Louisiana High School
17Athletic Association 2021 Division I state championship; does hereby recognize
18Ms. Bradley, Ms. Callaba, and Ms. Guillory for their amazing performances; and does
19hereby extend sincere hopes that they enjoy similar success next golf season.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
21principal of Barbe High School.
